Do you want to teach your child how to ride a bicycle but don’t know where to start? Has your child been practicing for months but they just can’t seem to ride their bike independently?
The Way to Bike! Camp is designed to help your child gain the skills, confidence, and know-how to give them the extra “push” they need to ride their bike independently.
HOW?
The Way to Bike Camp was designed by Way to Grow’s Occupational Therapists, Drew and Hannah, to help your child improve the balance, coordination, motor planning, and sensory regulation skills they need to ride their bike. During the first 2 ½ hour session, you and your child will work with Hannah or Drew to develop an individualized plan that will include exercises, practice strategies, and extra tips your child might need to ride their bicycle. During the second session, you and your child will review your progress, get more practice, and make any needed alterations to your plan.
WHEN?
The Way to Bike Camp is made up of two 2 ½ hour sessions that will take place on Saturday, September 14th and Saturday, September 28th. Both sessions will begin at 10 am.
